You're Not Cool.
Oh today. It was going good till dad decided to show up, (still at the farm) and even that wasn't bad. Then he decided that he was going to go home to get something and then come back later. Which was fine. During his absence, Mr. Shellhamer (Mr. Shell, for short, He's my old art teacher from elementary school. He's friends with my aunt) came up and paid a visit. I hadn't seen him in a while, so that was nice. He gave me some tips on my photography and such. Then, he had to leave, and soon after Dad decided to show up again. Don't get me wrong. I love my dad, but we just don't see eye to eye all the time, we're too much alike. Anyway, I went back to the bedroom to hide and read my book since he was getting way too loud for me too concentrate. I really hate how when he tries to get his point across, he raises his voice to an almost yelling level. While I was reading my book (Shiver, it's really good so far) I talked to one of my bffs, Ally for a bit about life and such. Then it was time for dinner. I stupidly ate like 10,000 cookies waiting for dinner, so I wasn't really that hungry. Which was fine, considering the potatoes tasted soapy. Yes, soapy. Then we got on the subject of my birthday, which is comming up. Yay. We decided sicne my birthday is in January, one of the crappiest months out of the year, I wasn't going to have a party until spring. So, that's like whatever. Anyway, I was bored so I decided that we, my dad included, were going to play a game since nobody except Gug ever plays board games with me. I went back to the room with the games and I picked out a couple, feeling rather happy that I was actually going to play a board game with my dad. Then, as I was picking out a game, I saw teh Disney Trivial Pursuit. "Huh," I thought. My castmates in the play and I had alwasy said that we were going to play the Disney version of Trivial Pursuit, mainly so it seemed like we knew something, but we never actually did. So, with both games in hand, the game I'd chosen for us to play and the Trivial Pursuit game, I walked out into the livingroom, where my hopes were slightly crushed by seeing my dad getting ready to sit down in the big armchair after I'd asked him to play a game with me. But, to make myself feel better, I decided to think that he was just going to let his food settle before we played. So, I started telling him about how I wanted just to have a couple friends from the play over to play Trivial Pursuit, and I explained why that game. And he said "Well, yeah whatever you want for in the spring". As I began to explain to him that I meant in January, he flipped, cause apparently I didn't listen to a word he said about the party. As Gug tried making feeble attempts to try and defend my case, saying that he never said anything against a small get together of friends in January, I started back the hall, both games in hand, to put them away, feeling defeated once more.

... <---Yeah. That's my brain wave activity right now.
So, I'm at the farm. Bored out of my mind of course, but what kind of surprise is that? I love the farm. It's one of my favorite places to be. (in fact at this point in time, I like being here more than my own house) But still. There's nothing to do out here, particularly when it's snowing. And, you guessed it. It's snowing. And on top of that, my mom is in southern California in Laguna Beach, and not on missed Christmas, but is missing my 16th birthday, too. The one and only birthday that actually means anything. Thanks, mom. Thanks a bunch.
And on top of all that, guess what I get to do during my wonderful holiday break? A freakin lab report on the percen hydration of Magnesium Sulfide. So, yeah. Screw my utterly amazing life.
